Carmen Garrobo
She is the founder, director and teacher of the Spanish school of tasting from 1995 to the present day, she is also president of the association of professional sommeliers of Madrid. Carmen Garrobo defines herself as a passionate woman about the world of wine and sensory analysis.
De nacionalidad española, es fundadora, directora y docente de la escuela española de cata desde 1995 a la fecha, es también presidenta de la asociación de sumilleres profesionales de Madrid. Carmen Garrobo se define como una apasionada del mundo del vino y del análisis sensorial.

Estela de frutos
She is an farming engineer and oenologist. Estela de Frutos is recognized as “the most famous oenologist in Uruguay”, agronomist and winemaker, she is one of Luis Hidalgo´s disciples, “one of the fathers of Spanish and worldwide viticulture”.

Pascual Ibáñez
Sommelier of the Spanish school of sommeliers. He is one of the co-founders of the School of Sommeliers of Chile, Founder and partner of the School of the Senses and author of: the Beer Guide in Chile and Mexico, among other great achievements.

José Antonio Alcalde
Farming Engineer and professor at the Catholic University of Chile, with a doctorate from the University of Reading, Great Britain. Brewing pioneer since 1986, he teaches the Brewery course, including Ciders and Meads, since 2004.

Amalia Castro
PhD. in History, specialist in heritage and agri-food identity. History, analysis and enhancement of typical Chilean products, subjected to processes of modification, invisibility and/or hybridization. Academic of the CIAH (Research Center in Arts and Humanities) of the Universidad Mayor.

Anita Rivera
Consultant in agro-food sustainability. Multidisciplinary background, with extensive experience in project management and content on sustainability and sustainable lifestyles, both publicly and privately.

Esteban Basoalto
Academic and Entomologist of the Faculty of Farminig and Food Sciences of the UACh, Director of the Master’s Program in Plant Sciences of that Faculty, Esteban Basoalto is part of work groups and other instances related to pest management, such as the Technical Commission of Pesticides of the College of Farming Engineers of Chile.

Paola Segovia
Journalist, writer and Master in Quality and Innovation in Education from the Autonomous University of Barcelona. She is co-author of the books “Memorias de la Radio en Valdivia” and “Chicha y Sidra de Los Ríos” and co-editor of the book “The Farming Premises of the Austral University of Chile: Acquisition-Legal Aspects-Purposes and Uses”.

Ivan Maureira Butler
Associate professor and director of the Plant Production and Health Institute of the Faculty of Farming and Food Sciences of the Austral University of Chile (UACh).
Farming Engineer from the Universidad Austral de Chile, he has a Ph.D. in Plant Breeding and Plant Genetics, from the University of Wisconsin-Madinson. He did postdoctoral studies and as a Research Associate in the Department of Plant Biology, at Cornell University.
